Protea Repens provide a vibrant and unique accent. These dried flowers have been dyed for lasting color. Protea repens is referred to as Sugarbush in southern Africa due to its copious nectar production, and for 200 years was the national flower of South Africa. The stiff petals overlap like feathers, producing a distinctive geometric pattern, and the bright red color can draw an eye from across a room.
The first picture shows two bundles of Protea Repens displayed alone. The second shows them with Banana Stems. The third picture shows Protea Repens displayed with Preserved Cedar, with Birch Forks in the back ground - a great wintertime holiday grouping.
